Site Operations / Contract Manager required to work between offices in Felixstowe and Alconbury, managing the Quality and Warehousing function of the business. Duties also include:
- Being an expert in SAP within the warehousing environment
- Undertaking ongoing staffing and work practice reviews
- Ensure 3rd parties adhere to strict codes of practice, contractual obligations and KPI measurement factors. Monitoring activities and dealing with issues
- Manage the financial implications relating to general day to day activities
- Self manage daily, weekly and monthly tasks and ensure accurate recording
- Effectively recommend process change to enhance the operation
Applicants are required to be educated to A Level standard, possess advanced Excel skills and be an expert with SAP. Applicants should also have management experience ideally from a Quality and Warehousing background.

Documentation Administrator (ref 2850)
Documentation Administrator required for a busy Ipswich based freight company. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring correct export documentation is produced to allow cargo to be shipped to its destination then ensuring the cargo can be released to the customer on arrival.
- Answering the telephone, dealing with queries or passing them on to the relevant department where appropriate.
- Chasing shipping company for the details required to issue the bill of lading
- Produce export documentation
- Prepare, print and issue the bill of lading to the shipping company using DHL or other courier ensuring the documentation is correct
- Ensure the bill of lading comes is returned once the shipping of the consignment commences and pass this on to the customer to allow them to receive their container when it reaches the destination
- Raise and issue the invoices for shipments
- Prepare and issue COS – insurance, BSC, CTN and Health certificates where required
- Attend to any amendments to a bills of lading
- Raise and issue authorised credit invoices
- Authorise the release of containers using telex
- File original documents
- Freight collect for various African markets
- Communicating on a regular basis with the Documentation Supervisor
- Carry out any other reasonable duties required by the business.
Applicants must have previous shipping experience, along with confident communication skills when liaising with customers, good time management and attention to detail.

Well established financial services organisation in Ipswich seeks an experienced Technical Services Support Administrator to provide support and admin on the IT infrastructure. This role is a 6 month fixed term contract. Over all duties include:
- Understand the general function of the business and specifically that of the users of any prime business application (e.g. Phoebus).
- Managing enhancements to core IT Infrastructure against defined SLA’s.
- Maintenance and administration of the overall IT Infrastructure.
- Act as an interface between company business users and the suppliers of infrastructure services.

Well established financial services organisation in Ipswich TC requires a Business Applications Developer to work with business units, clients, software partners, vendors and others to provide clients and employees with reliable and efficient servicing systems.
Responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, test, maintain and support software systems that meet the company, client and employee business requirements in accordance with service level agreements.
- Undertake a pro-active approach to requirements identification, resolution and delivery.
- Proactively research ways to improve and develop systems; identify and recommend enhancements, its partners and its clients, to retain a leading edge for Information Technology.
- Provide technical training and mentoring to other team members
Specific Tasks:
- Design lead for the Phoebus Mortgage Management system.
- Design, develop, unit/system test, maintain and support Phoebus enhancements using the P4 language.
- Provide Phoebus technical training and mentoring to other team members.
- Provide second line support for Phoebus application issues.
- Provide simple support tasks for Crown’s JBoss / Spring / Java applications when the Java/J2EE Developer is unavailable.
- Support the Business Process Reengineering team during the requirements definition phase.
- Support the System Test team during the system test phase.
- Support the UAT team during the user acceptance test phase.
- Supervise all P4 developments provided by external suppliers (e.g. Phoebus Software Ltd).
- Assist all members of the Technology Services management team in their duties when required and provide alternative cover as and when requested.
The ideal candidate will have a computer science degree (or equiv.) with some commercial experience. An excellent understanding of scripting language, SQL, RDBMS, XML/XFO, along with a good understanding of the Business. Knowledge of writing P4 codes on Phoebus Systems is also required.
